Wsg. XP I've been wanting to build this palace (website) for sooo long now since I really loved the authenticity I saw on Neocities. And as an artist, seeing beautifully crafted websites, with intentional thought and love put into each line of code made me wanna start my own! I was also into the animecore, webcore style at the time which I saw quite a bit on Neocities. But I ran into an issue - I was just sooo fricken lazy to make it look cool with CSS. HTML was chill but CSS is just scary to look at sometimes! And so, being someone who was so used to expressing myself through aesthetic images on social media, I overcompensated for my lack of knowledge by hoarding graphics and started focusing on them instead of, y’know, actually writing anything on the website? This came in the way of my original wants, which was to have a space where I could authentically be me. My excessive hoarding of graphics made it so I only became interested in other people's websites if they had a graphics page. I didn't want to connect, I only wanted more visual information. You could say I was a digital devil, endlessly consuming for my own wants and needs. But enough is enough! I am here to connect and show you who I really am! And if having a barebones website will do the trick, then it is a barebones website I will have!!! (I'll still have a few graphics here and there tho . . . Bro don't look at me like that! I love them too much . . . T^T)
